2010 Special Olympics European Youth Unified Football Tournament
(1 March 2010 - 30 April 2010 )
Throughout the common language of sports, the Special Olympics European Youth Unified Football Tournament aims to encourage people with and without disabilities to break barriers and forge new friendships to help build a more welcoming and inclusive society.
Participants: 86 athletes and 70 partners from 16 teams and 15 National Programs in Europe/Eurasia.
Age group: 16-25 years old
Other participants: 42 coaches, 500 school children, 200 family members, 100 guests and 50 media
Program:
Day 1 - Arrival of Football Committee members
Day 2 - Arrival of delegations
Day 3 - Divisioning
Day 4 - Competitions, Opening Ceremonies and VIP dinner
Day 5 - Competitions and Closing Ceremonies
Day 6 - Departures
