2009 Special Olympics European Sports Conference and European Games Head of Delegation Conference

The 2009 Special Olympics Europe/Eurasia Sports Conference and Head of Delegation meeting Conference for the 2010 European Summer Games will take place in Warsaw, Poland on November 5-8, 2009.

The conference will be an opportunity for Sports Directors and Coordinators  from 58 Special Olympics national programs and international staff to learn, share ideas regarding sports aspects of Special Olympics and get energized for 2010 and beyond. 

The conference agenda  will include:

- Half a day orientation for new Sports Directors. 

- 1-day overview of the 2010 Special Olympics European Games in Warsaw – conference participants will receive Head of Delegation information and will participate in site visits.

- 2-days GMS (Games Management Software) training course: a separate track for computer experts, who work on GMS or support National Programs to implement/use software during SO competitions.
