VISION
Through the common language of sports, the Special Olympics European Games aim to encourage people without intellectual disabilities to break barriers and forge new friendships to help build a more welcoming and inclusive society.

Host Town Program (15-17 September 2010) delegations hosted by 58 cities ; Law Enforcement Torch Run (10-18 September 2010) taking the Special Olympics Flame of Hope to Warsaw, Poland; Opening Ceremonies (18 September 2010) in Legia Stadium, Warsaw; Closing Ceremonies (23 September 2010) on Castle Square, Warsaw Old Town.

1,600 athletes and 600 coaches
2,000 volunteers, 200 officials, 250 medicals
1,500 family members

Athletics, Table Tennis, 7-a-side Female Football, Unified Basketball, Tennis, Power Lifting, Bowling, Roller Skating, Badminton, MATP
NON-SPORT PROGRAMS:
Healthy Athletes Program (Special Smiles, Opening Eyes, Healthy Hearing, Healthy Promotion, Fit Feet and FunFitness)
Family Forum (three-day forum for 2,000-2,500 family members)
European Youth Summit (four-day Summit for youths from Europe and Eurasia)
Physical Education Congress (50 academic teachers and representatives of disabled sports organization, institutions)
Symposium
Special Village with recreational and fun activities for athletes
Special Olympics Festival
