Summertime in ARMENIA is for Training and Friendship

(30 June 2009)

My name is Mher Voskanyan. I am 14 years old and I live with my mother, father and older brother in Yerevan, Armenia.  I am in the eighth grade.

I love sports, especially football and swimming. I have been with Special Olympics for four years.  Special Olympics is a big thing in my life.  I have made many friends as a Special Olympics athlete.  It is summer now, and I have plenty of time to exercise. I have seen several boys and girls take part in Special Olympics international games. So, my goal is to perform so well as to qualify for participation in an international event. I think I will be able to make friends of other nationalities and for sure, come back as a winner!
